The Next Second

The Next Second is a series I began in 2019, the summer I graduated from middle school. Traveling by high-speed train, I gazed out the window, countryside and open fields stitching one city to the next.
The landscape rushed past, each view dissolving the moment it appeared. In that blur, one second became the last, then lingered as memory. Yet the next second always came, carrying a new scene, weaving the entire journey together. This series captures those fleeting intervals, between departure and arrival, between childhood and what comes after, where time both slips away and quietly accumulates.
