Experimental sculpture "I Can't Breathe" series explores the boundaries of love within parentchild relationships, reflecting on how love can shift from nurturing to suffocating when taken to extremes. Through personal experience and observation, I found that love, when overdone, can become binding like a thread—appearing beautiful but ultimately stifling.
Using sculpture and symbolism, this artwork examines the dual nature of love. From its natural protective instincts to the potential for control and oppression, the piece encourages viewers to reflect on how love, under the guise of care, can stem from personal obsessions and selfish desires. It questions what real love means, highlighting the importance of understanding and acceptance.
